SG PAVAGE Inc. operates in the field of asphalt maintenance. We offer services including the maintenance of parking lots, roads, and driveways; asphalt repair; asphalt sealing with a bitumen coating; and asphalt resurfacing, which involves adding a layer of hot asphalt.
Asphalt Roads
For private or public road paving, our team begins with excavation to remove clay soil and replace it with a stable base. We also remove large surface rocks and handle tree removal and stump grinding.
Next, our technicians lay a geotextile membrane to drain water and prevent subsidence in the crushed stone support layer, which is compacted using our machinery.
To protect roads from surrounding soil erosion, we can add rocks (riprap) and hydro-seeded topsoil along slopes upon request.
Asphalt Parking Lots
For parking lot construction, we handle excavation (including the removal of clay soil and its replacement with stable soil), large rock removal, and tree removal and stump grinding. Debris and clay soil are transported to a dedicated disposal site.
After paving work is completed, our team can perform landscaping tasks, such as laying sod, planting bushes, or planting trees.
Storm Drains
Our team strengthens the asphalt base around residential, municipal, commercial, or industrial storm drains. We can also install new storm drains, remove old ones, or replace worn or damaged components.

Asphalt is composed of aggregates (finely crushed rocks) mixed with bitumen. At the plant, asphalt is heated and becomes fluid.
Our paving company delivers this hot asphalt to your project site and pours it onto a base of crushed stones. These stones are pre-crushed and leveled using our machinery.
The aggregates used in asphalt for roads and parking lots are of a higher grade, containing coarser aggregates than those used for residential driveways. This type of asphalt is less black and smooth but significantly stronger.
Our team selects the asphalt grade recommended by the ministère des Transports based on the type of surface to be covered (driveway, road, parking lot, bike path, etc.) and the level of traffic on the surface (small businesses, shopping centers, heavy vehicle lots, etc.).
