We recommend scheduling regular maintenance for your parking lot to extend its lifespan and prevent cracks and crumbling.

If your parking lot has small or large cracks and holes, resurfacing can seal and repair the damage.

This process involves adding a 2 ½ inch thick layer of asphalt (minimum) across the entire surface. This seals cracks while reinforcing and solidifying the entire asphalt surface of your parking lot. Additionally, resurfacing gives the asphalt a fresh, deep black appearance.

If your parking lot asphalt has sunken or broken sections, but the rest of the surface is not too damaged, it is possible to repair those areas by removing them, excavating, rebuilding the base with crushed stones, and then adding a thick layer of hot asphalt.

However, if your parking lot asphalt is riddled with holes, potholes, and large cracks (more than ¾ of an inch), it is recommended to remove it entirely and reconstruct it. A new geotextile membrane will then be installed, and the base of crushed stones will be rebuilt and compacted.
