There are several types of sealants used to protect asphalt (acrylic, bitumen, etc.).

The sealant we use, BlackMac, offers the highest level of protection on the market. Its unique properties allow it to fill small holes and cracks, extending the lifespan of your asphalt.

This sealant restores asphalt’s natural appearance and prevents water infiltration, freeze-thaw damage, and surface oxidation. It dries quickly and provides a natural, like-new finish.

You’ll gain protection against water infiltration and cracks for approximately 2 to 4 years, significantly extending the life of your asphalt. If you’ve previously applied an acrylic-based coating, we recommend applying a bitumen-based sealant for two consecutive years.

The BlackMac asphalt sealant provides a matte black finish, giving your asphalt a refreshed look while smoothing the surface and filling minor imperfections.

This coating extends the life of your residential or commercial asphalt at a low cost. After application, the surface is walkable after 2 to 4 hours and drivable after 24 to 48 hours.

If your driveway is relatively new (8 to 12 months old), we recommend applying an asphalt sealant to protect it, followed by reapplication every 3 years or ideally every 2 years to prevent cracking.
